The 26-year-old Hutchinson man we recently told you about who has two other cases pending for the alleged distribution of marijuana was back in court to hear the formal reading of charges.
A drug related search warrant was served on Jeremy Jiles apartment at 1300 East 33rd, back on February 21st. They allegedly found a black backpack that contained over a pound of marijuana, a digital scale and new packaging materials. They also found a large quantity of cash in his dresser drawer.
Jiles remains jailed on a 150-thousand dollar bond and is apparently trying to retain Wichita Attorney Charlie O’Hara who represents him in his two other cases that include charges associated with the distribution of marijuana. The first arrest coming back on September 20, 2013. In this case, he allegedly had more then 450-grams of marijuana, as well as packaging materials. In the third case back on January 16, he also allegedly had a large amount of marijuana, more then 450-grams as well as packaging materials.
He’ll be back in court on March 12 for a status hearing in the latest case
