A 22-year-old Hutchinson man reported to police that two men forced their way into his Hutchinson apartment and stole a playstation 4, as well as his cell phone. This reported to police around 1:45 a-m this morning.
And a 59-year-old man was cited Thursday afternoon for a hit and run accident.
Guillermo Vasquez-Arroyo was cited for an unsafe lane change, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, failing to give information at the accident, no proof of insurance, illegal display, driving in violations of restrictions and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.
His vehicle struck a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Robert Armbrust in the 1700 block of North Waldron, this around 1:15 p-m.
And a 20-year-old Hutchinson man is free on bond after he was arrested early yesterday morning for allegedly being in possession of marijuana with intent to sell within a 1000 feet of a school. Keegan Murphy of 701 East 14th, is also charged with no tax stamp on the marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute.
The arrest coming just before 9 a-m, Thursday morning.
Also, by our count, at least six people have reported their vehicles being broken into in the past day or two.. Just a reminded that if you park your vehicle outside of a garage, then make sure its locked up and remove valuables.
