HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A man arrested by law enforcement appeared before a judge Tuesday morning via-video from the Reno County Correctional Facility where he was read the charges against him.
Steven R. Morris is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute.
The state alleges that Morris was in possession of the drugs and paraphernalia on Oct. 15 of this year and was taken to jail.
During the brief hearing Tuesday, he requested a reduction of his bond which was set at $14,500 at the time of his arrest. Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen agreed to reduce it some to $10,000.
His case will move to a waiver-status docket on December 2.
