WICHITA- A Hutchinson woman was injured in an accident just before 12:30p.m. on Tuesday in Sedgwick County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Ford Escape driven by Phyllis L. Swank, 57, Hutchinson, was southbound on Interstate 235 at Broadway and slowed for stopped traffic.
A 2001 Ford F150 driven by Austin M. Binder, 19, Wichita, was unable to slow down in time and rear-ended the Escape.
A passenger in the Escape Berna Case, 58, Hutchinson, was transported to St. Francis Medical Center.
Swank and Binder were not injured. All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
