HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Although gas prices have risen some, then dropped a little, the price locally for regular unleaded remains below the state average of $2.15 per gallon.
The price locally as of early Tuesday morning is at $2.09 per gallon. That’s higher then where it was at one point earlier this month when the price was just under $2.00. However, the price had risen to $2.19 cents, but has since dropped again to current price.
Kansas ranks behind Missouri and Oklahoma regionally on gas prices. The average price in Missouri is $2.07, Oklahoma at $2.14 and Kansas at $2.15 per gallon. That according to Triple A.
Colorado has the highest price at $2.48 per gallon while the price in Nebraska is at $2.37.
