NEWTON, Kan. – A 39-year-old man wanted in connection with a stabbing case in Newton is in custody. According to Newton Police, Gregory Moseley was taken into custody around 4 p.m. Monday in Wichita.
He was apparently sighted at Towne East Square Mall by someone who recognized him from his photographs on the news. They called 911 and both the Eastborough and Wichita Police Departments responded.
Moseley was arrested pursuant to warrants out of Harvey County and was transported to the Newton Police Station for further investigation.
As we reported earlier, the stabbing occurred in the 100 block of West 2nd in Newton with the domestic violence dispute spilling out into the front yard of the residence. The female victim was stabbed multiple times.
The woman was rendered unconscious due to the trauma and was taken to Wichita by Newton EMS.
