HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 31-year-old Hutchinson man who was arrested by police back on July 7, made a first court appearance and was read the formal charges against him.
Dustin Friesen is charged with aggravated burglary and aggravated battery. He’s alleged to have broken into a home in the 2100 block of East 4th, then attacked the occupant who was sleeping including choking her and pushing her into a table where she cut her head. The victim was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center where according to sheriff officials, she had to have staples put in her head.
He’s free on bond and with the charges filed, the case against him will move to a future waiver-status docket.
