HUTCHINSON, Kan. – An inmate is in the segregation unit at Hutchinson Correctional Facility after he 
got into a physical confrontation with three employees.
According to prison officials, the man beat a corrections officer and two of the prison’s medical staff around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday. All three were taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment and were then released.
HCF says that, due to the ongoing investigation, no other information is being released at this time.
