HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After being arrested earlier this month, we have learned that a sheriff detective has resigned from the Reno County Sheriff’s Office.
Forty-year-old Jeremy Hedges, who worked with the Reno County Drug Unit, was arrested in South Hutchinson on May 13 for disorderly conduct – domestic violence, apparently involving a female acquaintance.
Hedges was placed on administrative leave, without pay, but now, according to sheriff officials, he has resigned.
Officials would not give much information because of it being a personnel issue.
