HUTCHINSON, Kan. — One of the five juveniles arrested by police for allegedly making threats to commit violence at Hutchinson High School was back in court Tuesday morning.
Tyler Cabral was arraigned and entered not guilty pleas. He will be back in court on May 20 for a motion hearing.
Three others were expected in court Tuesday afternoon for a motions hearing, but the hearings for Jake Eels, Dominic Collins and Andre Harris were pushed back to May 26. The fifth subject, Takoda Bowman, will have a pre-trial, also on May 26. The five were arrested for making threats through Facebook to commit violence on the last day of school. The prosecution and officials are still waiting on a warrant served to Facebook for the material from the teens.
Motions will also be heard on whether to place a gag order on the cases and keep affidavits sealed from the media.
