HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Mike Gibson, Executive Vice President for The Associated General Contractors of Kansas, will address the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce during a Membership Luncheon on July 23, 2014. The Membership Luncheon, sponsored by Hutton Construction, will be held at the Hutchinson Town Club, 200 E. Sherman St., Hutchinson. The lunch takes place from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Mr. Gibson will provide an overview of the impact that the construction industry has on local and state economies and share some major industries that the construction industry focuses on. He will also review how vital infrastructure impacts economic development and quality of life for a community.
Jana McCarron, Director of Planning and Development for the City of Hutchinson, will also give comments regarding some initiatives the City of Hutchinson is working on.
