CHENEY, Kan. — The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is investigating a boating accident that occurred 
Sunday afternoon at Cheney Reservoir.
Few details are available but we do know that two people were in a boat near the marina when it capsized and sank near the boat ramp. One person was taken to a Wichita Hospital. No names have been released at this time.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
