HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Normally building a new platform for displaying the Nation, State and company flags is 
something that might fly under the radar.
But with the fourth of July holiday upon us it was perfect timing for Lowen Corporation. And they let their employees share in it Wednesday. Lowen and its employees took part in a special flag raising ceremony to celebrate the Independence day holiday and the completion of the new flag platform. Roger Borth of Lowen says the platform has been in the works for some time, and when the completion fell so close to the holiday, they decided to make it a company wide celebration.
The new platform is in the shape of the Lowen logo oval, with the US, State of Kansas and the Lowen company flags all posted.
