HUTCHINSON, Kan. — With strong attendance each day, the first ever Smallville Comic-Con was deemed a success.
Jon Robinson put the event together and says they took a lot of notes and will sit back and digest all the information they gathered over the two-day event to make it better next year. Many fans enjoyed the event dress as their favorite comic book characters. Robinson said that the vendors who attended made their quotas, and were pleased with their results for the weekend.
The best part about the event is that it also raised about $1,135 which was divided up between the Reno County Red Cross and Wounded Warriors, which serves wounded military veterans with special needs.
