Dr. Carter File is the third candidate who will interview for the President’s position at Hutchinson Community College. 
File will go through the day long process Friday.
Dr. File was born and raised in Beloit, Kansas. He graduated from Beloit Jr/Sr HighSchool and later attended and graduated from Cloud County Community College with an Associates of Arts Degree. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration fromKansas State University, holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Universityof Baltimore, and completed a Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the University of Nebraskain Educational Studies, with a specialization in Educational Leadership and Higher Education.Dr. File has held several executive level positions in the private sector as a controller and chieffinancial officer. For the past twelve plus years Dr. File has worked in the Kansas communitycollege sector of higher education. The last eight plus years have been spent at Hutchinson Community College as Vice President of Finance and Operations.
Dr. File is married to Tracey his wife of twenty-five years and they have two adult children Emily and Samuel.
