A 34-year-old Hutchinson man accused of two alternate counts of felony flee and elude has his 2012 case before a jury this week.
Kenneth Hamilton was charged after he failed to stop for a law enforcement office back on September 19, 2012. The officer allegedly had suspicion that the defendant may be driving with a suspended license and attempted to stop him as he left a plant in South Hutchinson. The officer then tried to catch the man on a motorcycle, but he was able to loose the officer.
He was later captured and charged by the state with the two alternate counts of felony flee and elude, and two misdemeanor counts including driving while suspended and illegal tag.
The trial is being held in front of Judge Trish Rose.
