It could have been much more serious then it was when a car collided with a semi in Kingman County early Wednesday morning.
54-year-old Judith M. Moody of Kingman was west bound on U-S Highway 54 when her vehicle crossed the center line striking the drivers side tire on a semi. Her vehicle then veered and struck the trailer tires. Her vehicle then struck a concrete barrier, skidded across 54-highway coming to rest in the north ditch. The semi driven by 24-year-old Joseph T. McHenry of El Paso, Texas continued east and stopped in the south ditch.
Moody was taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center for treatment, while McHenry was not injured.
The accident occurring around 7:30 a-m, 3 and 1/2 miles east of Cunningham in Kingman County.
