Strataca is on the FlipKey list of the 2014 Top Museums Worth Traveling For. The list was compiled by FlipKey.com, the vacation rental company of the travel site TripAdvisor. One attraction was chosen from each state, and in Kansas it was Strataca, formerly known as the Kansas Underground Salt Museum.
FlipKey says the list was compiled through industry research and traveler feedback, and highlights the 50 most praised and most fascinating museums. FlipKey says, “Many museums examine the local culture and help you understand the region or its people. Other museums make you say, ‘I cannot believe a place like this exists, but just you try and stop me from going to see what the heck they have in there.’”
