Youth Philanthropy Council Grants Event Rescheduled

The Youth Philanthropy Council of the Hutchinson Community Foundation invites the public to attend the presentation of grant awards from the Richard W. Dillon Memorial Fund for Youth Philanthropy, rescheduled from the original March 2 date due to weather conditions. The awards will be Sunday, March 16 at 3 p.m. at the Hutchinson Art Center, 5th & Washington. The event is free and open to the public.

The Council is comprised of twenty-two high school students from across Reno County. These youth have met to discuss local issues of concern to youth, learn about philanthropy and grant-making, and award $3,000 in grants to youth-serving organizations.
