Underground Vaults & Storage Inc. has announced that they have acquired Document Resources Inc., a professional document destruction and secure record storage company with locations in Hays, Manhattan, Salina and Wichita.

“We are pleased to have negotiated this deal with Document Resources founder, David Kreller,” said Lee Spence, president of UV&S. “Both of our organizations are family-owned, Kansas companies. Expanding our current offerings with those of Document Resources will provide our clients enhanced security and convenience.”

Document Resources is NAID “AAA” certified for destruction, the highest security standard in the industry. They were founded in 1998 and currently have 23 employees across their four locations. Their products and services include onsite (mobile) shredding, offsite (plant-based) shredding, hard drive destruction, paper record and media storage, and e-waste disposal. UV&S will maintain the Document Resources name and its offerings.

Underground Vaults & Storage Inc. is a privately held information and records management company established in 1959, operating three underground and three above-ground storage facilities in four states. It is known best for storing millions of items, including movie film, data tapes and paper records for worldwide clients within a 650-foot deep salt mine in Hutchinson.
