A 33-year-old Hutchinson women facing numerous charges for allegedly stealing money from a local Kwik Shop has entered pleas in the case, thus avoiding trial which was scheduled to begin Tuesday.
Julie Montandon was the manager of the convenience store at 17th & Lorraine and is accused being involved with the stealing of just over 28-thousand, 655-dollars sometime between January 26, and January 29, 2012.
Charges included felony theft, unlawful acts concerning computers, and 8-counts of making false information. She entered pleas to three charges, unlawful acts concerning computers and two counts of making false information with the state dropping the rest. Sentencing will come in about 30-days and will be a presumptive probation case, however she will have to pay some restitution.
She had just been released from prison back in December for a case out of Sedgwick County where she was also convicted of felony theft. But, that crime occurred after the Reno County case.
