A 62-year-old Hutchinson woman originally charged with 34-counts associated with being in possession of synthetic marijuana, bath salts, and potpourri, but entered a plea to a considerably less amount of charges was granted corrections Friday morning by Judge Tim Chambers, which both sides were recommending for Karen Gregg.
Judge Chambers ran most of the counts concurrent to each other for a controlling sentence of 42-months in prison, but then granted her 18-months community corrections.
The crimes allegedly occurred on November 17, 2011, with the raid occurring at the Corner Store at 1210 E 4th. There were well over 500 individual containers of potpourri with the JWH-210 compound, K2, and other brands of herbal incense, methamphetamine, and fake social security cards, handguns and a large amount of cash that was all seized.
The case against 71-year-old Donald Gregg is still pending.
