HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Fire crews responded to a structure fire at 406 W. 1st Saturday night.
On arrival, first units reported smoke inside the residence with a fire in the kitchen. Fire crews quickly controlled the fire. Crews then overhauled the kitchen area, checking for extension and hot spots.
Fire damage was limited to the kitchen area, with smoke damage throughout the rest of the residence. Fire crews remained on scene for approximately 1 hour.
The cause of the fire is undetermined. No injuries were reported.
