A Hutchinson man on trial this week on a charge of “felony breach of privacy,” was found “not guilty” by a Reno County jury Wednesday.
Terry Bryan placed a tanning bed in a storage room inside the pet grooming business, but the state alleged that he installed a hidden camera in the room and watched employees using the tanning bed from his office.
The camera was allegedly attached to his computer in his office where the state alleges he could view what was occurring with the tanning bed. The defense claims it was used for security purposes only. The alleged crime occurring on September 19, 2012, but the jury was unconvinced that it was used for the specific purpose of spying on any employee.
