Big Weather Changes Coming This Weekend

It will remain dry and unseasonably mild today and into part of Thursday. However a strong cold front will drop south during Thursday with much colder temperatures expected by Friday. A wintry mix of freezing rain and snow could impact travel by Saturday and Sunday, especially across south central and southeast Kansas.

Today: Mostly sunny. Breezy. Highs in the mid 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows 35 to 40. South winds 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny. Highs 55 to 60. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
