In a case that the state at one time had dismissed, they’ve now refiled. That means a Hutchinson man again faces serious drug charges which go back to January of 2012.
Kameron Crowder is charged with manufacture of a cocaine base or in the alternative attempted manufacture of a cocaine base. Both have a sentencing range of 138-to-204 months in prison. Other charges include possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture cocaine. The alleged crimes occurring back on January 12, 2012.
In court, he wanted his 75-hundred dollar bond reduced, while Assistant District Attorney Andrew Davidson hinted that a manufacturing charge should have a 50-thousand dollar bond. In any case, Davidson didn’t think it should be lowered. Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen agreed and deny the request for a reduction.
The case will now move to a future waiver-status docket.
