Four students at Hutchinson Community College are free on signature bonds after they were arrested at the college for possession of marijuana.
According to police, an employee of U-S Security reported the drug activity at a dorm room at the college. 19-year-old Lathomas Long, 19-year-old SirCharles Mobley, 18-year-old Dariius Wright and 19-year-old Jerry Boyd Jr., were arrested for having the drugs. Long was also arrested for illegal possession of liquor.
All four from out of state were granted the O-R bonds or signature bonds after making a first appearance in front of Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen. Three had bonds of 500-dollars while Long’s was 600-dollars because of having the liquor.
All four are expected back in court next Wednesday for a status hearing.
