HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A local woman accused of threatening two people with a baseball bat was found not guilty Wednesday by a Reno County jury.
Delorah Linden was charged with two counts of aggravated assault for the incident which allegedly occurred back on June 30, 2015. The case centered on a dispute with neighbors over a weed eater and after an argument, she left the neighbors home, but came back with a baseball bat where the state alleges she threatened two individuals with the bat. The jury apparently doubted that an actual threat was made or that the alleged victims felt threatened
They started their deliberations after both sides gave closing arguments Wednesday afternoon.
Again, Linden was found not guilty.
