HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The trial for a Hutchinson woman accused the threatening two people with a baseball bat.
Delorah Linden is charged with two counts of aggravated assault for the incident which allegedly occurred back on June 30, 2015. It appears from testimony in court that there was some dispute with neighbors and the she left the neighbors home, but came back with a baseball bat. The question for the jury is whether she actually threatened anyone with the bat and whether the alleged victims felt threatened.
Jury selection was slow moving with only 25 people showing up for jury duty, so the court was having to call people who are scheduled for jury service and they were showing up one at a time, but they did manage to get a jury selected.
The trial is being held in front of Judge Trish Rose.
