HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The three men arrested back on April 2 on drug distribution charges were back before a judge Monday morning for the formal reading of charges.
Charles Crumble and Derrick Taylor, both 25 years old, and 32-year-old Robert Goodman were arrested after police came to a motel room in the 300 block of East 4th.
Charges include distribution of methamphetamine and marijuana, possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia for distribution as well as personal use. Taylor and Goodman are also charged with criminal possession of a firearm. Goodman was also being held on a parole violation and informed the court that he may have to serve 90 days as a sanction for that violation.
Police were able to get consent to search the room and allegedly found items consistent with the distribution of drugs as well as a fully loaded 45-caliber handgun and a large amount of cash on all three.
All three will see their cases move to a waiver-status docket on May 4.
