HUTCHINSON, Kan.— The Alcoa finishing plant in Hutchinson will be seeing some changes in the near 
future.
Alcoa on Monday unveiled the name, logo and tagline of its future Value-Add company: “Arconic. Innovation, Engineered.” The future Upstream company will operate under the Alcoa name. That means the name will change to Arconic here in Hutchinson.
The Company’s separation into two, independent, publicly-traded companies in the second half of 2016 remains on track. Alcoa’s mining and smelting operations will continue under the Alcoa name while the rest of the company including finishing processing and other processing will fall under the Arconic label.
No time table was given for the name change for the plant which employs about 75 workers.
