HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 35-year-old Hutchinson woman was before Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen Wednesday morning for two charges, one a felony and one a misdemeanor.
Jessica Bruch is charged with felony flee and elude for failing to stop for an officer back on Dec. 20. She is also accused of stealing a vehicle to avoid being arrested for a charge of aggravated burglary in Barton County.
She was also apparently kicked out of her mother’s home north of Hutchinson and was told not to come back, but did anyway, so a Reno County Sheriff Deputy arrested her for criminal trespass.
She asked for a reduction of her $3,250 bond, but the state asked for it to remain because of the pending charges here as well as in Barton County. Judge Allen agreed and denied the request.
Her case moves to a waiver-status docket on Jan. 13.
