The two people arrested back on August 7 after a drug related search are expected back in court Wednesday morning for a status hearing.
33-year-old Brian Nelson faces charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and his bond set at 3-thousand to 500-dollars.
The co-defendant, 22-year-old Kassie Laughlin was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package marijuana for sale and personal use drug paraphernalia.
Officers allegedly found a glass jar in her bedroom which contained the alleged marijuana. They also found inside her purse a pipe with marijuana residue. In the kitchen, they found an open box of sandwich bags and another bag next to it with marijuana residue. Allegedly, both her and Nelson admitted to smoking marijuana.
Her effort to get her 85-hundred dollar bond lowered was denied in part because of a 7-month- old child being inside the residence while they were smoking the pot.
Again, both scheduled to be back in court Wednesday morning.
