HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Despite the intermittent rain showers, workers with Luminous Neon 
were at the Hutchinson Fox Theatre placing the refurbished vertical marquee back into place.
The sign was taken down several months ago for the renovation after Luminous offered to do the work in honor of Mert Sellers’ 55 years of service to the company.
The Fox will hold a relighting of the vertical marquee with a party set for Sept. 1.
There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and the excitement of the newly restored sign as they power it up for the first time. This event is free and open to the public.
