FINNEY COUNTY- A McPherson County man was injured in an accident just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Finney County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by Lynn S. Auernheimer, 68, Canton, was northbound on Mary Street under U.S. 50 and had a green light.
A 2012 Chevy Suburban driven by Deborah J. Lamm, 48, Sharon Springs, turned on a red light in front of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle clipped the back passenger corner of the Chevy and came to rest in the intersection.
Auernheimer was transported to St. Catherine’s Hospital. Lamm and two children in the Chevy were not injured.
Auernheimer was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
