NICKERSON, Kan. – A Hutchinson teen was injured in an accident just before 1 p.m. on Saturday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1996 Chevy Cobalt driven by Haley Eryn Tucker, 17, was northbound on Kansas 14 two miles south of Nickerson.
The vehicle left the roadway to the right. The driver over corrected and exited the roadway to the left sideways. The Cobalt rolled three times and came to rest on the railroad tracks west of the highway.
Tucker was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
She was properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
