HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Hutchinson Siemens facility is making some improvements.
According to plant spokesperson Myca Welch, the company is expanding its storage capacity on the grounds. The work includes more than 5,500 cubic feet of concrete poured. The expansion will also provide more access to the 19 axle trucks that transport the nacelles and hubs from the plant.
If all goes well, the work should be finished by July 7 and fully utilized by July 18.
