HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 20-year-old South Hutchinson man arrested with two others at a local McDonald’s on charges of being in possession of marijuana with intent to sell was back in court Monday on new charges.
Terrel Kane is now charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for an arrest on May 4. He, along with 22-year-old Kristopher Smith, was arrested in the 1500 block of North Adams after a traffic stop.
Kane is already facing charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, personal use drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence. He is alleged to have had a distribution amount of marijuana when he was at the McDonald’s at East 11th.
This arrest came on March 21, along with 18-year-old Caitlynne Perry and 21-year-old Kayla Joy, both of Hutchinson. The two women were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Kane is scheduled for a status hearing in the March case on Wednesday.
Smith was also in court where he was told of the charges for possession of marijuana against him and both their cases will also move to a waiver-status docket.
