A Hutchinson woman arrested on July 20th, after allegedly firing a weapon into a home with kids inside has been formally charged.
Actually, Laura M. Enriquez is accused of two counts of criminal discharge of a firearm for allegedly firing into two homes, that according to the formal complaint filed by the state. One occurring in the 1600 block of Landon Street and the other 800 block of West 22nd.
She is also charged with aggravated assault, felony flee and elude, DUI, and illegal transportation of alcohol. She allegedly led police on a 15-minute high speed chase after firing the handgun. Her blood alcohol level was allegedly at .083, leading to the DUI charge.
With the formal charges filed, her case moves to a waiver-status docket on August 7 in front of Judge Joe McCarville.
