A 20-year-old Wichita man who was arrested last week for a second case of distribution of marijuana is scheduled to be back in court Wednesday.
Garrett Ketley is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell within a thousand feet of Yoder school. He was in the passenger seat of a vehicle which was stopped in the 10-thousand block of South Yoder Road where around 241-grams of marijuana was allegedly located in the vehicle. The pot was reportedly under the seat and Ketley told detectives that the pot was his and that he was intending to sell it.
Ketley had been in court last week on an earlier case where he was also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, no tax stamp and possession of marijuana. This arrest coming back on April 26 and in that case, he allegedly had at least 450-grams, but less then 30-kilograms of marijuana.
He also has a warrant from Harvey County for distribution of marijuana where he allegedly had a half pound of marijuana.
It’s believed that he may have been taking trips to Colorado and purchasing the pot and bringing it back to Kansas. He is scheduled to be in court on both cases and see where the case goes from here.
Bond in the cases was set at 150-thousand dollars.
