Hutch Man Arrested Again For Trying To Pass Forged Checks

A 25-year-old man with no local address and who already facing financial crimes charges can add some more, on top of being picked for failing to appear in court on other cases.

The latest arrest for Joshua Mann came at the Hutchinson Mall when he tried to pass a forged check at the Buckle. Police were called and he was arrested on two charges of forgery. That coming on Monday.

Mann is already accused of numerous other criminal counts including auto burglary, forgery and criminal use of a financial card and theft. He faces six counts of forgery for forging someone’s name on their checks.

He also charged with using two financial cards belonging to two different individuals at various stores. Some for an amount as small as 6-dollars to another as large of 605-dollars. That larger occurring at the Aldi’s Grocery store. Others were at local convenience stores and one liquor store. Charges include six counts of criminal use of a financial card.

Mann was arrested back on May 1, after an investigation by police.

He is now jailed on a bond of 28-thousand, 500-dollars for his latest arrest and should be in court in the coming days on the other cases.
