Palm Beach, Fla. – Jason Ball, President & CEO, Hutchinson/ Reno County Chamber of Commerce, has been selected as a winner in the economic development profession’s 40 Under 40 awards, the only award of its kind recognizing young talent in the economic development profession.
A five-member selection committee chose the winners from a pool of more than 157 candidates based on their exceptional contributions to the economic development industry. The award’s program was managed by Development Counselors International (DCI), a New York-based firm that specializes in economic development marketing.
Ball has been the President of the Hutchinson/ Reno County Chamber of Commerce since December 2012. He is a Certified Economic Developer, holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and is a graduate of Oklahoma University’s Economic Development Institute. He is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Kansas, the Kansas Economic Development Alliance, the K96 Corridor Development Association, the IEDC and the ACCE. Jason serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson and the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Kansas. He lives in Hutchinson with his wife, Sandy, and their son, Bennett.
