Visitors to the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center will now have the opportunity to hear form the people who made space exploration history with a new interactive program. A new mobile audio/visual tour, aptly named cosMOBILE will allow visitors to experience the rich history and exciting future of space exploration in a multitude of ways.
With the new program visitors can use a mobile device, such as a smart phone or tablet. If you don’t have one the Cosmosphere will provide one for you. From there, visitors will be taken to a private URL to live the story of the Space Race with narration, embedded music and personal stories and commentary from space explorers. Their experiences will unfold as users interactively choose their path through the galleries.
According to a Cosmosphere release, the tour is also designed to be enjoyed more than once. Just as visitors will almost certainly find something new to inspire them, with each visit to the Hall of Space Museum, cosMOBILE will delight again and again. New content will be added periodically.
