HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Fire caused heavy damage to Ineeda Cleaners Thursday evening.
According to Doug Hannen of the Hutchinson Fire Department, crews arrived around 6:30 to find fire coming from the back of the building. Hanen says the fire was trapped between the roof and a ceiling making it tough to get to. The fire caused significant damage to the back area of the store and smoke and water damage through out the building.
Owner Rachel Nelson told hutchpost.com that they closed the store around 6 p.m. and at 6:20 they got a call from their security service. “We drove over here, and the entire back of the building was on fire. We then heard the sirens coming down the street,” said Nelson.
Hanen says it still too early to tell what caused the fire and there were no injuries.
