HUTCHINSON, Kan. — One person was injured in a car/ pedestrian hit-and-run accident this morning near Hutchinson Community College.
Police report that 28-year-old Ian Miller was crossing the Plum and 14th Avenue cross walk around 7:40 this morning when he was hit by a north bound vehicle driven by 47-year-old Timothy Wilson of Hutchinson. Wilson then drove away from the scene. He was found a short time later at his residence and issued six citations, including failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
Miller was awake and conscious when EMS arrived. He was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.
