A slow-moving storm system will track eastward across the Southern Plains Today, bringing widespread rainfall and a few thunderstorms. The heaviest rainfall rates will be over Southeastern portions of the Region, with 3 to 5 inches or greater of storm-total rainfall from Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma, eastward into Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas.
