HUTCHINSON, Kan. – If you’ve been to the pump lately, you probably noticed that gas prices are falling. In fact, the price for regular unleaded is $2.99. That’s the first time in a long time that we have seen prices this low.
Most believe that the cost of crude oil is the biggest factor. It had dropped below $90 a barrel recently and the trend, according to some, continues to be downward. That could mean even lower prices at the pump.
How long this will continue depends on how long the price of crude oil stays low.
