HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Hutchinson Community College will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, for the annual all-college convocation. The college’s main campus in Hutchinson, outreach sites in Newton and McPherson, and the south campus location will be closed for that morning for the event.
The HCC switchboard on the Hutchinson campus will be operational during this time to answer calls and forward messages.
All HCC employees will be involved in the convocation to develop future plans, obtain campus updates and address campus-wide issues and concerns.
The college will reopen at 1 p.m. for regular operations.
The college will be closed on Friday, October 3 for the fall semester break.
