HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Fireman responded to the 2200 block of East 4th for a structure fire this afternoon. When they arrived, units found smoke and flames coming from the rear of a trailer
The fire was controlled in 10 minutes with units on scene for about two hours. The trailer was valued at $5,000 with damage likely succeeding that. The rear of the trailer was heavily damaged with heat and smoke damage throughout the rest of the trailer. The trailer was vacant at the time of the fire and no utilities were hooked up.
The cause of the fire appears to be intentionally set and Hutchinson Police are assisting with the investigation. No one was injured in the fire.
