HUTCHINSON, Kan.— The Hutchinson Community College Board of Trustees will seek approval of the budget for the 2015 fiscal year during tonight’s regular monthly meeting.
According to Vice President of Finance and Operations Julie Blanton, the total published budget is $72,200,205 dollars on levied taxes of $12.3 million dollars.
The schools mill levy will drop by a fraction from 22.511 to 22.500 mills. According to Blanton it is the lowest mill levy for the school in ten years. The budget provides a 3.6% increase in salary for teachers and staff for the year.
Tonight’s meeting of the HCC Board of Trustees begins at 7p.m. At the Shears Technology Center.
